Business Model Redesign

Led the evaluation and design of a business model that increased profit by $50M, improved business performance, and enhanced customer experience.  The results were achieved through changes to value streams, product portfolio, pricing strategy, operational processes, technology, and customer interaction.

 

Business Transformation

Project lead for transformation that resulted in a 30% reduction in SG&A cost, 5% reduction in operating cost, and 6% improvement in working capital.  This was achieved through organization simplification, process design, shared services, and technology enablement.

 

Strategic Planning Process Design

Served as lead for project to deliver improved analysis and decision making capabilities to focus investment and drive growth for a strategic investment portfolio of over $15B.  The solution was successfully deployed and was subsequently expanded to support strategic analysis; focus sales/marketing efforts; analyze market, customer, and product performance; and perform business simulation.

 

Finance Transformation

Led a project for the CFO to transform Finance operations (Record to Report, Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Distribution, Cost Accounting, and Inventory) through elimination of non-value added activity, process automation, and increased use of shared services.  The solution was successfully implemented and improved Finance quality of service while reducing costs by 25%.

 

Operating Model Redesign

Led an effort to modify operating model to improve performance of business across divisions in 7 global regions.  The design drove growth while reducing SG&A cost through more effective management of business performance across the portfolio; improved visibility into business units, markets, geographies, and products; increased effectiveness of shared services; and enterprise process standards.

30% in overall production capacity without adding capital or resources attained by creating a Lean Six Sigma plan  to deliver process / equipment improvements on 20% of issues causing 80% of downtime across manufacturing.

 

Strategic Planning Process Design

Led program to outsource processing out-of-state that resulted in 20% overall cost saving with less than 1% error rate compared to in-house processing that averaged greater than 15% error rates and cost $50+ million.

 

Global Business Development

$500,000 in annual sales growth for new business achieved by identifying potential need areas and      convincing client management on company’s value proposition related to consulting and process  reengineering services

 

Cross Functional Global Leadership

Boosted profit margins by 5% on base of $5.5 million by establishing more concise product assembly plans and continuous tool refinement during production to ensure more accurate bids for future clients.
